The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Osun State Command, has reunited two lost children with their parents.
In a statement, its State Commandant, Michael Adaralewa, revealed on Wednesday that a 12-year-old boy was found wandering by NSCDC operatives on patrol on August 29, 2024, at around 11 pm around LAMECO area, Osogbo.
Adaralewa said the boy ran away from his guardian’s house due to hunger.
“The boy disclosed that the guardian only gives him two square meals a day and he does not get satisfied.
“Upon reuniting him with his guardian, it was revealed that the boy has a high appetite, and no matter the quantity of food given, he remains unsatisfied.”
Adaralewa also disclosed that on August 31, an 8-year-old girl was found at Apara Area, Osunjela, Ilesha Road, Osun State.
