12-Year-Old Boy Reportedly Shoots Younger Brother Dead In Jalingo
Tragedy struck Tuesday evening in Jalingo, Taraba State capital, as a twelve-year-old boy, identified as David Kingsley, reportedly shot his brother dead.
The twelve-year-old boy was said to have shot dead his six-year-old brother, Solomon Kingsley, at their family compound in the Nukkai area of Jalingo metropolis.
The Acting Police Public Relations Officer of the Taraba Command, Kwache Gambo, when contacted by Daily Post, pleaded for patience.
The Command is yet to issue a statement on the incident at the time of filing this report.
Residents said they all went into hiding when they heard the gunshot thinking it was bandits or kidnappers that invaded the area.
The residents, who confirmed that David mistakenly shot and killed his younger brother, according to Daily Post, could not confirm the source of the gun as the father of the children was not a security personnel.
