13 Police Officers Arrested For Indecent Dressing
The Rivers State Police Command on Saturday, said it has arrested 13 of its officers for indecent dressing in different parts of Port Harcourt.
The State Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, disclosed this during a live programme organised by the Force Public Relations Department transmitted on a radio station in Port Harcourt.
According to Disu, the policemen were arrested during a patrol by the command monitoring unit in various parts of Port Harcourt and were now in detention.
According to him, “During a routine patrol in different parts of the city, we arrested about 13 officers who were indecently dressed.
“This is part of an ongoing effort to stop indecent dressing by officers of the command.
“And the head of the divisions where these arrested officers are serving will be vicariously liable for the personnel’s conduct.”
