MFM FC has made it clear that forward Stephen Odey, would only leave the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, for a fee in the region of $700,000 to $1million.
The club’s director, Emmanuel Adeyemi, stated this on Thursday during an interview with Brila FM.
Adeyemi added that the 19-year-old, who is currently the NPFL’s top scorer, has a binding contract with MFM.
“We are looking at between $700,000 to a million for the player.
“He’s a bona fide player of MFM and is contracted to our club,” he insisted.
Odey is currently in Denmark and his agent insists he is only on “a facility tour” of Danish club, FC Midtjylland. Although contrary reports claim the club has indicated the player is undergoing trials in the Scandinavia nation.
