A 20 year-old man, Alabi Ishola, was on Monday docked before an Osogbo Magistrate Court for stealing Motorcycle in Osogbo.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Olayiwola Rasaq, told the court that the accused committed the offence at Owode area, Ilesha road in the state capital.
Rasaq said the accused conspired with one at large to steal one Haojue Suzuki motorcycle with registration number QU434KJA valued at N55,000 which belongs to one Isiaka Olawale.
He said the offence committed by the accused person is contrary to and punishable under sections 516, 390(9) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. II laws of Osun State, Nigeria 2003.
Ishola pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of theft and conspiracy slammed against him.
Counsel to the accused person, Mr. Olatunbosun Oladipo, prayed the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal terms.
The Magistrate, Mrs. Fatimoh Sodamade granted the accused person bail in the sum of N50,000 and one surety in like sum.
Sodamade said the surety must reside within the court jurisdiction with evidence of tax payments and two passport sized photographs, attached with an affidavit of means.
She then transferred the case to court 5 while she adjourned the case till 23rd March, 2018 for mention.
