2019: Making Case For All APC Candidates In The State Of Osun By Adeboye Adebayo

In twenty eight days or thereabout, the Nigerian electorate will again be up at the poll to choose leaders that will steer the ship of the country, where we are all passengers in the next four both in the executive and legislative arms of government.

The February 16th poll is purely a federal election where the President alongside his Vice President will be elected as executors and the federal lawmakers at the Red & Green Chamber will also be elected to make laws and do oversight duties for the holistic growth of the country.

No doubt, the experience of governance at the federal level in the last three years has been of mixed feelings because of not-to-good relationship between the two arms of the government especially in terms of budget passage & implementation which is very critical to the economy growth of the nation and had direct impacts on the citizenry from the cities to towns to villages to remotest party of the country, hence we must be very conscious of who we put forward as a country, state and local governments to lead, rule or represent us.

As a result of the above, the leadership of the State of Osun chapter of the All Progressives Congress; APC sat down critically through the laid down rules of the party, presents and put forward some good brains around to represent the interest of our people at the both chambers of the National Assembly.

Engr. Adelere Oriolowo is to represent the good people of Osun West Senatorial District at the Red Chamber.

Hon. Ajibola Famurewa is to represent the good people of Osun East Senatorial District at the Red Chamber.

Barr. Suraj Bashir Ajibola is to represent the good people of Osun Central Senatorial District at the Red Chamber.

Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello is to represent the good people of Ede North/South, Egbedore & Ejigbo Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber.

Hon. Lekan Afolabi is to represent the good people of Ifelodun, Odo-Otin & Boripe Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber.

Hon. Mrs. Taiwo Oluga is to represent the good people of Ayedaade, Irewole & Isokan Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber.

Hon. Bukola Oyewo is to represent Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun & Orolu Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber.

Hon. Siji Olamiju is to represent Obokun & Oriade Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber.

Hon. Lawrence Ayeni is to represent the good people of Atakumosa East/West & Ilesa East/West at the Green Chamber.

Hon. Olufemi Fakeye is to represent the good people of Ila, Ifedayo & Boluwaduro Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber.

Hon. Yinusa Amobi is to represent the good people of Ayedire, Iwo & Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency at Green Chamber.

Hon. Folorunsho Bamisayemi is to represent the good people of Ife East/North/South/Central at the Green Chamber.

While President Muhammad Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo are on the Presidential ballot for our great party; APC.

All the candidates presented for the ballots are very prepared to the best of their abilities for the job ahead, they have clear understanding of what is at stake and they are very well prepared for it.

They have a prepared legislative agenda in line with the manifestos of our great party; APC, in line with the reality in the country as of today, in line with peculiarities of the State of Osun and also in consonnance with the plans and policies of Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola for the growth and development of the good people of the State of Osun.

They have understudied the happenings at the current National Assembly and a lot of lessons have been learnt so as to impact on the citizenry positively through their duties as lawmakers.

As Lawmakers, we must understand that their duties is not to award contracts and execute contracts rather to represent our interests as constituents, to make laws for implementation in our interest and to watch over the executive arm in their executions in our interest, everything they do is in our interest, hence we must give them the required supports.

All the candidates of our great party; APC have listening ears, they have wide eyes and a very large heart to adequately represent us well in Abuja and they have all what it takes in terms of education, experience, exposure and intellect to attract enough federal goodies and attention to our dear state and engage in a robust debates at the plenary at any point in time so as to make Osun a State to be reckoned with at the National Assembly.

For us to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy like never before under Buhari/Osinbajo Presidency, it is our duty as a people to ensure continuity at the Central seat of power and vote all APC legislative candidates so as to make sure that the Executive and legislative arms of government are on the same page to ensure progressive governance, economic growth and development for the people.

May God in his mercy see us through, amen.
