The Coordinator of Mata Zalla, Saratu Sa’a has said that no amount of intimidation, political witch hunt nor harassment would deter her from delivering women votes for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Aminu Masari.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Sa’a alleged that some people close to the state government are not happy with her mass mobilisation and acceptance and are out to break her.
“These people who are not happy with our continues acceptance and growing popularity are out to blacklist the movement out of envy and jealousy,” she said.
According to her, since the inception of the organisation two years ago, a lot of unnecessary victimization and witch hunting has been levelled against her noting that ‘it is God who is doing it and we shall continue to do whatever we can to promote Buhari and Masari.
”In the last two years we have empowered more than 10,000 women and under our movement we have more that 2800 organisations ready to work for Buhari and Masari.
“I will not relent on my efforts to see that women are empowered and mobilised to vote for the two candidates in 2019,” she added
