2020: Hon. Ogunkanmi Urges Citizens to Join Hands With Govt For A Better Nigeria

The lawmaker representing Ayedire state constituency in Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Gbenga Ogunkanmi has admonished Nigerian citizens to join hands with government to work for a better Nigeria.

Ogunkanmi said this in a New Year message he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Osogbo, the state capital.

He noted the gains of co-existing In peace and harmony as well as unalloyed support for government at all levels in its bid to bring the desired prosperity to them.

Hon Ogunkanmi commended the commitment of Osun citizens who have contributed to the peace and stability of the state In the previous year, urged them to continue in that direction.

He urged Nigerians to be always united and work hard in their respective callings for the nation to be a better one just as he advised them to show more patriotism and diligence to the cause of Nigeria.

He stressed the need for Nigerians to have attitudinal change in 2020 to be better as individuals with high hopes for the progress of the country.

According to him “Let us pledge to act towards each other with the strength of unity and compassion. Let us do away with the weaknesses of fear and and division.

“ As we have sat down to celebrate with friends and family over this holiday season, I wish every Nigerian a peaceful and prosperous new year and even better years to come.”
