THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State of Osun has begun its campaign for the July 16, 2022 governorship election in the state.

The campaign began immediately after the inauguration of the party’s Campaign Council on Monday in Osogbo, capital of the State of Osun.

Speaking with OSUN DEFENDER yesterday, the Director General of the campaign, Mr. Sunday Bisi, said majority of the people of Osun want PDP to takeover the leadership of the state from All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to Bisi, there is no doubting the fact that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola would be defeated in the forthcoming governorship election, saying the popularity of the governor is dwindling day-by-day.

He said the PDP is ready to offer good governance and put smile on the faces of the people of the state.

The campaign train of the party was in Iwo on Tuesday and Ilesa yesterday.
