2023: APC Inaugurates Women Campaign Team
Inauguration of the women wing of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign team is currently being inaugurated, at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
The event which is being held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, has the Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, representing the President.
The President is currently away in Chad, where he is attending the investiture ceremony of Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno as President of the Transitional Team in the Republic of Chad for two years.
Present at the event are the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; First Lady Aisha Buhari; wives of the candidate and his running mate, Senator Remi Tinubu and Mrs Nana Shettima.
Others are the Chairman of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Governor Simon Lalong; Governors, Hope Uzodinma (Imo); Abdullahi Ganduje; Women Leader of the APC, Beta Edu; other leaders of the party; National Assembly members and others.
