Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential aspiration received a spiritual boost on Saturday as a special prayer session was organized for the success of his ambition ahead of the 2023 general elections in the country.
The prayer session was put together by a former House of Representatives member and the Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority, Abdullmumini Jibrin Kofa, around 11:30 am in his hometown of Kofa village in Bebeji Local Government Area, of Kano State.
Over 2,500 clerics led by the Chief Imam of Kafin-Maiyaki, were assembled by the former lawmaker to offer prayers for the realization of the Tinubu presidency come 2023.
The session was also well attended by notable politicians from across the state, as well as professionals and several Tinubu supporters.
The former lawmaker also used the occasion to give scholarship grants to 2,500 girls and empowered another 2,500 youths who underwent training in various skills under his empowerment program.
While addressing the people at the event, Kofa said, “This special prayer was organized for the success of the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming general elections as well as for peace and stability in the country.
On the empowerment effort, he said, “Today a total of 2,500 youths received startup capital and scholarship grants to over 2,500 girls selected from the 44 LGAs of Kano State.
“Each of the beneficiaries received financial support ranging from N100,000 downwards.”
