Former Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has declared to run for Senate in the 2023 general elections.
He made this known during an event to mark his 70th birthday held in his country home and attended by party faithfuls at Iyamho in Etsako West Local Government, Edo State, Nigeria.
Oshiomhole said he will consult with everybody in the Senatorial District including the incumbent Senator, Francis Alimikhena.
The former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is seeking to represent the good people of Edo North Senatorial District in the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
Speaking at the event, Oshiomole expressed confidence that he will surely get the support of the good people of Edo North and that the current Senator from the district, Alimikhena, will be glad to volunteer himself as the Director General of his campaign.
