2023: Power Rotation To South West Non-Negotiable
The President of the Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide, Aremo Barr Oladotun Hassan has said that the rotation of the Presidential seat from the North to South in 2023 is not negotiable.
Speaking at the end of the maiden of World Omoluabi Day program held at Ile-Ife, Osun State on the 1st May, 2019 the Youth leader said, the statement credited to some self appointed youth leaders and elders from the northern Nigeria, claiming retainership of power beyond 2023, that the north can still produce the President in 2023 is not only selfish, treacherous, deceitful and capable of causing bad blood, most ungrateful statements from such elements and unpardonable insult to the people of the South,
He however said that he strongly believe that those who released the recent statement lacks the sovereign capacity and supports of the good people and core leaders from the North, being a figment of their own imagination that does not represent the mind of the northern majority and Nigerians at large.
He said the political alignment that produced President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 and 2019 is still very much intact and alive in 2023, with greater expectations.
