2023: Saheed Balogun Leads Nollywood Actors, Entertainers To Rally Support For Tinubu

Veteran Nollywood actor, Saheed Balogun has led his colleagues and entertainers to rally support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The group, under the Yoruba faction of Nollywood, paid a visit to Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly in a show of support for APC in the coming elections.

The lawmaker had received the actors and encouraged them not to falter in their support for the party.

According to him, “Our task is to involve people, enlighten them and make them see reasons why they should continue to support APC.

“We know the group has always supported the party and we want them to continue.”

Speaking during the visit, Balogun disclosed the reason he feels Tinubu is the right candidate to become the president of Nigeria.

He said, “We see Tinubu as one who has done a lot to qualify as the next president of Nigeria and we hope to continue to release the presidential candidate’s achievements.

“Asiwaju has done well and it is time to pay back. Every successive government continues to build on his foundation.”

This group is not the first set of Nollywood actors and filmmakers endorsing Tinubu and the APC for the forthcoming election.
