2027: Adeleke’s Aide Resigns, To Challenge Ajilesoro’s Seat

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Transportation, Mr Adewale Adedayo, has resigned his position.

Adedayo in his resignation letter dated March 31, said he planned to contest the Ife Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections under the Accord Party.

“This decision is not taken lightly, as I have had the honour of serving the people of Osun State and supporting the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

“However, I feel a strong calling to take my passion for public service to the next level and contest for the Ife Federal Constituency seat under the platform of the Accord Party.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to have served as SSA to the Governor, and I appreciate the trust reposed in me. I will continue to support the good people of Osun State and work towards their progress and development.
