The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has declared that it his turn to become the next governor of Oyo State come 2027.
Aelabu, however, said his gubernatorial ambition is not driven by personal or selfish interests.
He insisted that his motivation comes from wanting to improve the lives of the people in the state.
In a trending video on Sunday, Adelabu explained that his desire to serve as governor stems from his deep love for the poor, the less privileged, and the people of Oyo State as a whole.
He said: “One thing I know is that it is not the day one enters into politics he states reaping from it. But I’ve also paid my dues.
”I contested in 2019 and 2023, so in 2027, E mi Lokan” (It is my turn).”.
