2027: Opposition Preparing For Election, Tinubu Preparing for Coronation — Farotimi
Human rights activist and lawyer, Dele Farotimi, has accused President Bola Tinubu, the judiciary, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of plotting to undermine the 2027 general elections.
Farotimi made the claim in a post on X on Wednesday night, saying, “The opposition are preparing for an election, INEC, the judiciary, and Tinubu are prepping for a coronation.”
His statement followed INEC’s removal of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola from its official portal as the National Chairman and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), respectively.
The electoral commission also declared that it will not recognise factions within the party or monitor any conventions or congresses organised by groups aligned with the affected leaders.
