Raodatul-Bashir Islamic Society recently celebrated its 27th anniversary with a public lecture titled:
“Striving in the cause of humanity”. The guest speaker, Shaykh Musa Olohunlogaju stressed the need for Muslims and human race generally to co-exist harmoniously, saying there is no compulsion in religion as people are free to determine their faith.
He commended the founder of the organization, Alhaji Abdulhamid Abdulsalam for his tenacity and purposeful leadership for the past two decades.
He, however, emphasized the need for more soul winning evangelism, especially among the youths who have turned social vices into their ways of lives.
There is need to enjoin our youths to imbibe moral values that would help them lead a responsible life rather than spreading the message of prosperity at the expense of a peaceful and harmonious society.
