A 400-level student at Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, identified as Rashidat Shittu, has reportedly committed suicide over her academic status.

The deceased was said to have committed suicide by drinking “sniper” ahead of the institution’s forthcoming examinations.

When contacted, the KWASU Director of University Relations, Mrs Saeedat Aliyu, said, “I haven’t been able to reach the officers in charge. I’ll revert as soon as I do.”
