At least 8 people have been killed in a 3 day onslaughts that ensued between two rival cult groups in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, at the weekend. According to news reports, the clash started on Thursday.

It was gathered that most of the killings, except two, were said to have been carried out in broad daylight.

But the state police command said it could only confirm the death of three persons even as it said some suspects have been arrested in connection with the attacks.
