Buhari’s Minsters To Appear Before Committee In 48hours
The senators therefore issued a 48-hour ultimatum to all heads of ministries, departments and agencies to appear before its relevant committees by Friday, February 24, according to a report by the gathered.
The report said while ruling on the motion for adjournment moved by the majority leader, Ahmad Lawan, Senate President Saraki asked the committees to use their discretionary powers against any ministry, agency or department whose head refuses to turn up by Friday.
Saraki further disclosed that the leadership of the National Assembly would meet with acting President Yemi Osinbajo later on Wednesday to report the ministers and other top officials to him.
