Accolades have continued to pour on a medical student from State of Osun, Miss Oyeleye Lateefat Abiola who emerged the best of over 560 students who sat for their final medical examinations at Karazin Kharkiv National University, Ukraine in Eastern Europe.
Oyeleye is one of the 50 Osun State students who were sponsored from UNIOSUN by the state government to complete their medical training in Ukraine.
The All Progressives Congress in the State of Osun, in a statement by the party’s Director of Publicity, Barr. Kunle Oyatomi, described the development as, “a triumphant outcome for the state’s education policy”.
The party congratulated the student and thanked the governor for his foresight and investment in education, which is already producing “spectacular results”.
According to the party, “critics of the governor should now bow their heads in shame.
“They have persistently claimed that the governor’s investment on education was phantom. But everywhere you look. The reality is that the new educational infrastructure in Osun compares favourably with the best anywhere in the world.
“Secondly, the quality of education provided in these infrastructures is also world class, and Lateefat Abiola has confirmed same.
“All well-meaning people in the state should acknowledge what is undeniable, that one of the Ogbeni Aregbesola’s outstanding achievements in the state is his investment on education.”
The party then urged that “we should not leave the space to cynics and envious characters whose concept of governance is to degrade our values, pillage our wealth and ultimately destroy the future of our children’s education”.
