Landlord Commits Suicide In Modakeke

Tragedy struck Oke Itasin area in Modakeke when a landlord of a house in the area, popularly called Baba Gbenga committed suicide by drinking poison.
The incident which happened at exactly 5am on Friday took residents of the area into tragedy.
Business activities were paralysed this morning as traders and residents shut their doors.
It was gathered that the incident occurred after efforts by the deceased to pay a huge amount amount of money he borrowed proved abortive.
Minutes after embarking on the act, residents disclosed that the lifeless body of the deceased was discovered by his tenants who raised the alarm, attracting passers by and other tenants.
It was also gathered that the deceased relatives have taken the dead away to avoid police intervention.
