Man Detained Over Theft

The Osun state police command has arraigned a-20-year- old man, Habib Amusa before an Osogbo magistrate court over alleged stealing.
The accused person allegedly broke and entered into the building of Assodiqiyah group of school, Oke Baale with intent to commit felony to wit stealing.
The charge sheet made available to journalists in the court revealed that the accused person carted away the following; physics, Ripple tank, weight 150, 5 Bar magnet , one pack of crocodine clips, one polythene rod, 1 Bimetallic strip, 1 immersion heater, 2 Rag box, 2 coll, 2 zinc plate, 3 copper plate, 1 Rhetostat, 1 Land acid accumulator, 5 pulley, 15 plain mirror, 10 Lenses, 7 stop clock, 2 serums, 56 Retort stand, 2 Caliper, clam (a clam b-climp 5), 25 compasses totaling over One million naira property of one Suara Adeyanju.
The offence committed, the charge sheet disclosed, is contrary to and punishable under section 413 of criminal code cap 34 vol.11 law of Osun state Nigeria, 2003.
According to the charge sheet, the suspect committed the offence in the month of September, at Osogbo.
However, the accused person who had no legal representative pleaded guilty to the first count and not guilty to the second count charge preferred against him.
Presiding Magistrate, Mr. O T Badmus ordered that the accused person should be kept in police custody till the next adjournment date.
The matter was later adjourned for hearing.
