The All Progressives Congress APC and the entire Lagos Political Family of the Progressives have welcomed back to his political base and home front, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola after completing his tenure as the Governor of the state.
This is evident in the several billboards sighted at Strategic Locations in and outside the city.
With inscriptions like “We Welcome Oranmiyan”, “Welcome Back Home Oranmiyan”, supporters and political admirers of Ogbeni Aregbesola welcomed back their leader and political mentor to the state where he began his political journey.
In the various billboards, different groups and associations as well as associates of the former Governor from his time as the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure in Lagos State commended him for being a patriot and a worthy ambassador that worked relentlessly to develop the state of Osun.
On his return to the Centre of Excellence, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and his wife, Sherifat in company of friends and associates proceeded to the Bourdillon residence of the APC National Leader and his mentor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu where they were received by Tinubu’s wife, Oluremi.
Aregbesola used the occasion to express his gratitude to Asiwaju for his support over the years especially in backing his ambition to become the Governor of Osun.
Aregbesola and his wife were full of gratitude to the Tinubu family for not leaving him behind and working with him during the struggle to reclaim his mandate.
The former Governor’s residence in Lagos since Tuesday, November 27, 2018 when he left office has been a beehive of activities as both political leaders and interest groups have been visiting Aregbesola to congratulate him on his successful tenure of office.
