Police Reveal Identity Of Suspected Killers Of Kolade Johnson
The Nigerian Police Force has revealed the identity of its men complicit in the killing of a Nigerian youth Kolade Johnson during a raid in his neighbourhood in Mangoro area of Lagos.
Johnson was hit by a stray bullet shot by the men of Anti-Cultism Squad on Sunday while watching the English Premier League match between Liverpool and Tottenham.
The police on Tuesday said Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan and Sergeant Godwin Orji were “suspected to have carried out the shooting.”
“The men suspected to have carried out the shooting of Kolade Johnson have been apprehended and subjected to internal disciplinary procedures,” the police tweeted on Tuesday.
The commissioner of police, Lagos State, Zubairu Muazu, who paid a condolence visit to the family of late Johnson on Tuesday assured them of justice.
