Health practitioners in Osun State have commended Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for transforming the health sector in the state.
Medical and Dental Consultant Association of Nigeria (MDCAN), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital (LAUTECH), Osogbo, branch made the commendation during a visit to the governor’s office yesterday.
The health workers also acknowledged the governor’s commitment to revitalising hospitals across the state. Chairman of MDCAN, Dr. Rasak Akindele, on behalf of his colleagues, applauded Oyetola’s administration for prioritising the welfare of health workers.
Akindele, who was accompanied by Dr. Adeniyi Fasanu (secretary), Dr. Olufemi Ala (treasurer), Prof. Segun Adebomi (immediate past chairman) and others, described Oyetola as a lover of health workers.He said the administration had shown high sense of commitment to refining the health sector for greater productivity and development, commending it for paying full salaries to workers.
“You have been a listening father whose passion for human and capital development cannot be over-emphasised.“We have seen your zeal and commitment tailored to ensure an improved standard of living for all workers, particularly health practitioners,” he said.
