The election in the constituencies, according to result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were won by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates.

While Oke polled 25,329 to defeat the candidate of APC, Olamiju, who polled 19,725, Salam scored 46,944 against 44,866 scored by Bello. Atidade of the PDP polled 12, 993 votes in Ede North to defeat Akinloye of the APC who polled 12, 643, while in Obokun, Adewumi polled was declared winner ahead of Oyintiloye.
Meanwhile, the PDP has also filed a petition challenging the result of the House of Assembly election in Ifelodun state constituency where the APC was declared winner of the election.
One of the counsels of the APC said, the reason for challenging those results was as a result of irregularities and non-compliance with the statutory provisions of the law with which the elections were characterised.
The lawyer added that one of the prayers of the petitioners before the tribunal was that the results in some polling units, especially where there was violence and over voting be cancelled and the petitioner be declared winners.
Oyintiloye, while speaking on his petition said, he has confidence that his stolen mandate would be retrieved through the court, saying he won the election but was rigged out by the PDP.
Appealing to his supporters to be calm and hopeful, he assured that there is enough evidence to prove the case and win.
