Governor, State of Osun, Mr Gboyega Oyetola on Thursday gave an executive order for the immediate establishment of Osun Investment Promotion Agency (OSIPA).
The Governor gave the executive order while declaring close the three Day Osun Economic and Investment Summit held in Osogbo the state capital between 19th and 21st of November 2019 with the theme, ” Pathway to Economic Growth and Prosperity for the State of Osun”.
According to the Governor, the agency which is going to be independent will among other things oversee all that has to do with investment in business and economic growth of the state for the prosperity of all.
This was part of the outcome of the summit as many investors from both local and international signified intentions to partner with the state with commitment in cash and in kind to explore, promote and develop the natural resources with which the state is endowed with for mutual benefit and for the economic growth of Osun and its people.
