Mistress Remanded For Touching Boarding-House Students’ Private Parts
A 37-year-old house mistress, Christiana Ayeni, has been remanded in Ilesa Correctional Centre for unlawfully and indecently assaulting four students of San Francesco Catholic College, Ejigbo, State of Osun by touching their private parts.
According to the charge sheet obtained by OSUN DEFENDER yesterday, Ayeni unlawfully and indecently assaulted a set of students by touching their private parts.
Ayeni allegedly committed the offence on March 21, 2018 at within the hostel vicinity at the college.
Police Prosecutor, Inspector Elisha Olusegun said the alleged offence contravened Section 360 of the Criminal Code, Cap 34, Vol. II, Laws of Osun State, 2002.
But Ayeni pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against her.
Defence counsel, Mr. Oladipupo Olatubosun pleaded with the court to release the suspect on bail.
The bail application was opposed by Olusegun on the ground that the suspects might jump bail.
The Magistrate, Modupe Awodele, ordered that the suspect be remanded in Ilesa Correctional Centre.
Awodele thereafter transferred the case to Ejigbo Chief Magistrate’s Court, to be mentioned on December 21, 2020.
