Prince Gboyega Famodun said the crisis rocking the state of Osun chapter of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) is manageable. Famodun is the caretaker chairman of the party in the state of Osun.
Speaking with news men in Osogbo the state capital, Famodun claimed that the crisis was caused by those who have benefited from the party in the past, describing the crisis as a brand of African politics.
According to him, “The crisis within the APC, though peculiar to African politics, is still manageable compared to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).”
“You can see that PDP has gone since the last election in the state, when it is six months to another election, you will see them spending money for the people.
“Our party remains the answer to the yearnings of the people. That is why we are sure that APC will win 2022 governorship election in Osun”.
The party chief also spoke about the issue of insecurity in the country claiming that insurgency was inherited by the present administration from former administration, and that unemployment has only contributed to the high rate of kidnapping in the country.
Famodun further claimed that banditry has been commercialized in Nigeria. He however assured that it will be conquered with the relentless efforts of security agencies.
