Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Iwo Local Government of the State of Osun came out in their large number today to participate in the congress of the party to elect new executives.
The APC Iwo LG congress which started around 9am at Baptist Day School, Oke-Odo, Iwo, witnessed an impressive turnout of members of the party who adopted election to elect their new leaders.
Members of the party were on the queue in an Option A4 method to elect new executives of the APC for the local government.
Security operatives from the Department of State Services (DSS) and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) witnessed the congress.
Speaking with OSUN DEFENDER, the Caretaker Secretary of the APC in Osun, Hon. Rasak Salinsile said that the turnout of the party members was “highly impressive”.
Salinsile commended the people for their commitment and doggedness towards the success of the congress in Iwo, just he complained about the absence of officials of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
