The Ooni of Ife Palace has debunked divorce announcement by Queen Naomi Silekunola, decision of the wife of the Yoruba monarch, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.
This was contained in statement by Ooni of Ife spokeson Comrade Moses Olafare, he said, “The palace is not aware of the decision of Olori. Kabiyesi has not briefed me on the matter but I will get back to you soon.”
Recall that Queen Silekunola had earlier on her social media platforms announced her separation with Oba Ogunwusi, saying she should no longer be addressed as Queen of Ile-Ife.
