Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has shuffled his cabinet after making a few more appointments.
This was revealed in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday by Muyiwa Adekeye, the Special Adviser to Governor El-Rufai on Media and Communication, who said Hajiya Umma K. Ahmed has been nominated as the Commissioner for Local Government
Ahmed is said to be the current administrator of Birnin Gwari Local Government. It was confirmed further that she was the Director-General of the Kaduna State Quality Assurance Authority before her posting to Birnin-Gwari.
Adeleke revealed in the communique that Hajiya Ahmed has now been nominated to replace Dr Shehu Usman Muhammad who resigned his appointment to pursue political aspirations.
Meanwhile, Abdullahi Muhammad Ibrahim is the new Administrator, of Birnin Gwari Local Government.
The immediate past Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aminu Abdullahi Shagali has been appointed as the Special Adviser, Political Matters.
The communique further explained, “Murtala Dabo, who is the new Special Adviser, Economic Matters, is a former banker, who has served in several roles in the government since 2015.”
Adekeye stated that Dabo was most recently, the chairman of the Kaduna State Fiscal Responsibility Commission, stressing that he would be succeeded in that role by Mohammed Jalal, who is currently a permanent commissioner in the Fiscal Responsibility Commission.
Also, Mr Francis Danladi Kozah has been moved from the Assembly Service Commission to the Kaduna State Enterprise Development Agency (KADEDA) as secretary, while Dr. Jibrin Sanusi Alhaji moves in as the new secretary of the Assembly Service Commission.
