The Leadership of Progressives Youths In Ondo State has condemned in strong terms, the unfortunate killings at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa, Owo.
This is contained in a statement signed by Babajide Akeredolu, Chairman, Progressives Youth Stakeholders, Ondo State.
Akeredolu said, “We wish to express our deepest condolences to the people of Ondo State, the government, and the family & friends of the victims of this unfortunate incident.
“It is pertinent to note that every soul is precious and must be respected and protected hence our call for swift action by security operatives to make sure those behind this barbaric act are apprehended and put to book and that necessary mechanisms be put in place to prevent future occurrences.
“We also want to urge residents to provide necessary information that might aid the investigations and operations of security operatives.
“May God protect us, our dear state, and Nigeria at large.”
