Marcus Rashford Denies Man United Exit Rumour
Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford has taken to social media to deny ‘malicious rumours’ regarding a potential departure from Old Trafford.
Over time, there have been speculations that Marcus Rashford is wanted by other clubs in Europe but the speculations halted at the end of last season after United offered him a contract that earns him around £350,000 per week.
However, in recent days, the transfer rumours have been burning again, especially after Manchester United coach, Erik Ten Hag confirmed that Marcus Rashford organized a birthday party hours after the club lost 3-0 to their city rivals, Manchester City.
The coach described Rashford’s decision to organize the party after the humiliating defeat as “unacceptable” but insisted that it has been dealt with internally.
However, Rashford didn’t feature in United’s slim 1-0 win over Fulham last week and the 26-year-old England international was seen in the stands.
It was later confirmed that Rashford didn’t make the team because of an injury he sustained during training, not because of the birthday bash which Ten Hag said was unacceptable.
After the win over Fulham, Manchester United players were seen at an expensive restaurant celebrating the victory without Rashford who finished last season as their highest goalscorer.
Amid that, Manchester United fan channel, The United Stand, attempted to promote their latest podcast using the name of Rashford. The channel posted on X, “Rashford’s future in doubt? WE’RE LIVE!”
Interestingly, the England international took to the comments section to respond to the statement urging them to “Please STOP spreading malicious rumours.”
