Zaidu Sanusi Fit To Start AFCON Final
Nigeria full-back, Zaidu Sanusi is fit to start for the Super Eagles in today’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final against hosts, Cote d’Ivoire.
The Porto left-back missed Nigeria’s semi-final victory against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa due to a minor hamstring injury.
He was replaced in the lineup with Fenerbahce’s Bright Osayi-Samuel.
However, Sanusi is expected to be included in the starting line-up against Cote d’Ivoire.
Nigeria is expected to line up in the preferred 3-4-3 formation for the game.
The encounter slated for the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan will kick off at 9 pm Nigeria time.
