Late Ataoja of Osogbo’s Son Joins Omoluabi Progressives
A prince of Osogbo, Oloyede Oyewale, the son of the immediate-past Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Iyiola Oyewale Matanmi III, has joined the Omoluabi Progressives.
Oyewale announced his decision to join the caucus at the weekly meeting of the tendency in Osogbo local government, on Thursday.
He premised his political move on the massive developmental projects executed in Osogbo by the former governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, which, according to him, transformed the state capital.
The new member of the caucus promised to work assiduously and mobilise actively for the Omoluabi Progressives to reclaim the state in 2026.

“I am ready to contribute my quota and work hard to see to the realisation of our ambition to return to the government of Osun in 2026. I know that with the quality of people in the caucus and God being on our side, we will reach the promised land.”
