Asake Tops Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Chart
Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has made history by surpassing Burna Boy to become the artist with the most songs on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
Asake’s latest album, ‘Lungu Boy,’ debuted nine songs on this week’s Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, pushing his total entries to an impressive 50. This milestone not only cements Asake’s dominance in the Afrobeats genre but also sets a new record on the chart.
One of the standout tracks from the album, ‘Active,’ featuring American rapper Travis Scott, currently holds the top position on the chart, further solidifying Asake’s influence in the global music scene.
