AFCON Qualifier: Libyan Authorities Hold Super Eagles Hostage at Al Abaq Airport (Video)
Libyan authorities on Sunday night, held the Super Eagles hostage at the Al-Abaq Airport.
According to the Super Eagles media officer, Promise Efoghe, the team’s chartered aircraft was approaching its destination in Benghazi before it was diverted to another city, more than a two-hour drive from the original base.
The players and their officials left Nigeria for the North African country on Sunday morning.
