Bobrisky Transferred To FCID After Arrest
Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, is currently in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos, following his arrest by officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
Bobrisky was apprehended while attempting to leave Nigeria through the Seme border on Sunday, and he spent the night in a police cell.
A source told PUNCH that Bobrisky was brought to the FCID around 10 p.m. on Monday for safekeeping as authorities await further directives regarding his case.
The source said, “Bobrisky was brought to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 p.m. on Monday. Immigration arrested him at Seme Boarder and brought him for safekeeping.
“He is in detention at the FCID, Alagbon. He was arrested on Sunday, detained overnight, and taken to the FCID, Alagbon, around 10 pm on Monday. He is still at the FCID.”
Speaking with PUNCH on Tuesday, the spokesperson for the FCID, Lagos, Mayegun Aminat, said, “He is detained at FCID Alagbon. He is with us and we are to get a remand to keep him in custody today.”

Osun Defender recalls that controversial media critic Martin Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, had earlier claimed Bobrisky was arrested.
VeryDarkMan stated this in a post on his verified Instagram page on Monday morning.
He alleged that Bobrisky was arrested this morning at the Seme Border while attempting to enter Benin Republic.
According to him, Bobrisky was trying to evade an ongoing investigation by the House of Representatives.
He said, “Bobrisky has been arrested this morning at the seme border while trying to enter BENIN REPUBLIC to escape the current investigation by the house of reps,he is allegedly being held be the Nigeria immigration.”
Recently, VDM released an audio recording of Bobrisky claiming to have allegedly bribed EFCC officials with the sum of N15 million.
During his conversation, Bobrisky also claimed not to have spent his six-month jail term in Kirikiri prison due to the influence of his godfather.
The revelation led to an investigative hearing by the House of Representatives but Bobrisky failed to appear before the committee, claiming to be sick.
