North-Central APC Forum Threatens To Expose SGF Akume Over Lopsided Appointments
The North-Central APC Forum has issued a stern warning to Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, threatening to release further evidence of alleged lopsided appointments favoring his Tiv kinsmen of Benue State.
The Forum also accused Akume of incompetence in handling the affairs of the Office of the SGF.
According to the Forum’s Chairman, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, the allegations are based on complaints from stakeholders in the North-Central zone, who claim that Akume’s appointments are imbalanced and favor only his Tiv people.

The Forum urged Akume to carry the entire North-Central along and stand as a leader for the zone, failing which it would embark on protests to agitate for his removal.
The SGF’s camp has dismissed the allegations as false and misleading, with his spokesperson, Terrence Kuanum, describing the North-Central APC Forum as mischief makers being sponsored to attack Akume and President Bola Tinubu.
However, the Forum maintains that it has evidence to support its claims and will release it if Akume fails to adjust his approach to leadership.
