3. Osun NSCDC Arrests 24-Year-Old For Vandalizing Railway Track

Personnel of the Osun State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have arrested a 24-year-old man, Olalekan Kehinde, for allegedly vandalizing a railway track.

The suspect, a resident of Abidogun area, Ota-Efun, Osogbo, Osun State, was arrested on Monday, 18th November 2024.

4. Osun Govt, Labour Sign New Wage Deal

Osun State government, on Friday, said the implementation of the New National Minimum Wage of N75,554,28 for all categories of workers, including Local Government employees will take effect officially from the 1st of December, 2024.

This was as the government said an improved pension package of 25,000 across board to all pensioners in the state has also been approved.

5. Osun Govt Announces Prince Jokotola Olayinka As New Olujudo of Ido-Osun

The Osun State Government has officially approved the appointment of Prince Jokotola Olayinka Tunde as the new Olujudo of Ido-Osun in Egbedore Local Government Area of the state.

In a statement on Friday by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, noted that Prince Tunde’s appointment was in strict to the adherence to the provisions of the 1956 Registered Declaration, which stipulated that it was the turn of the Adenko Ruling House to occupy the stool.
