While sympathies have poured in from fans and colleagues, a section of social media users has alleged that the incident was staged to promote her upcoming movie, Thinline.

On Wednesday, Aigbe shared a video on Instagram, revealing the extent of the damage. In her post, she expressed gratitude that no lives were lost.
Captioning the video, she wrote, “Devastated! Thank God no life was lost. It is well.”

Despite the tragic nature of the event, some online critics accused Aigbe of using the incident as a publicity stunt.
Others went further, dragging the actress over her marriage to Adeoti, reigniting debates about her personal life.
Reacting to the allegations, actress Kemi Afolabi came to Aigbe’s defense in an emotional Instagram video.

She described the trolling as unfair and unwarranted, stating, “I cannot believe people are still trolling her. This is unfair. All she needs is your support. Forget whatever you guys might have against her. How can someone allow her house to burn to promote a movie?”
Afolabi also highlighted the extent of the loss, noting that it included filming equipment and other valuable assets.
She appealed to the public to stop the attacks and provide support for Aigbe during this challenging time.
