1. Adeleke Directs Pardon For Man Sentenced To Death For Stealing Fowl
Governor Ademola Adeleke has directed immediate investigation and pardoning action on the case of a young man reportedly sentenced to death by hanging in Osun State for stealing fowl.
In a statement on Tuesday evening by the spokesperson to the Governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the Governor ordered the Attorney General to intervene in the matter and ensure the young man is listed for prerogative of mercy before the end of the year.

2. Court Restrains Osun Gov From Appointing New Owa Obokun
A restraining order has been issued by an Osun State High Court sitting in Ilesa against the state governor, Ademola Adeleke, and Ilesa kingmakers from nominating a new Owa Obokun of Ijesaland.
The court’s decision follows a suit numbered HIL/117/2024, filed by Prince Debo Adeyemi and 10 others on behalf of members of the Ofokutu Royal Family of Bilaro Oluodo Ruling House.
