TikToker ‘SeaKing’ Tells Police: Use Cyberbullying Tracking Tools To Catch Afenifere’s Kidnappers

Nigerian TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as “SeaKing,” has called on the police to shift focus from tracking cyberbullying cases to hunting down kidnappers, following the abduction of Afenifere Youth Council President, Prince Eniola Ojajuni.

In a video posted on his TikTok page, SeaKing criticised the police for swiftly arresting individuals accused of cyberbullying while failing to track kidnappers who openly share videos online.

“This is one of the Yoruba youth leaders kidnapped and pleading for his life. Nigerian police, these are the people you should be tracking. You tracked someone who insulted the IGP, but you can’t track kidnappers posting online?

“These are kidnappers online, terrorising people, posting videos, and you guys are still doing nothing about it.

“But if it’s to trace people who do cyberbullying, you will track them, arrest them, and charge them to court the next day.

“Why can’t you use that same energy to track kidnappers and arrest them? These people are online; they are not hiding.”

He argued that kidnappers were the real bullies of cyberspace, urging security agencies to use the same surveillance tools deployed against critics to locate criminals.

Osun Defender had previously reported that Ojajuni, abducted by gunmen, pleaded for financial help in a viral video, with a kidnapper pointing an AK-47 at his chest.

The kidnappers threatened to kill him if a N100 million ransom was not paid.
