Shehu Sani Knocks Tinubu Over Appointment Of APC Spokesperson As NTA Board Chair
The former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has blasted President Bola Tinubu for appointing the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress, Felix Morka, as the Board Chairman of Nigerian Television Authority.
OSUN DEFENDER reports that Morka, alongside some state chairmen of the APC, was given a board appointed by Tinubu on Friday.
Commenting on the development in a post on X, Sani who recently rejoined the All Progressives Congress, said the appointment of Morka will cast aspersions on the professionalism of the station.
He wrote, “The NTA is statutorily owned by the FG. However, appointing the Spokesperson of the ruling party to chair its board would cast aspersions on its contents.
“Its objectivity, image, and professionalism would be questioned more than ever before. The party spokesman should be considered for alternative appointment to save the station.”
