1. You’re Only Ashamed Of Your Failures – Osun Govt Replies APC Over N159bn Infrastructure Plan Criticism

Osun State Government has fired back at critics questioning the feasibility of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s recently unveiled N159 billion infrastructure plan, calling the opposition’s stance a reflection of their failure to address the state’s infrastructure deficit during their tenure.

OSUN DEFENDER earlier reported that the All Progressives Congress (APC) accused Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration of deception over its the newly announced N159 billion infrastructure development plan, labeling it a “scam.”

In a statement signed by its Director of Media and Information, Kola Olabisi, the APC described the new plan as an insult to the people of Osun, arguing that the government had failed to deliver on a previous N100 billion infrastructure pledge made in 2023.

2. Teachers’ Recruitment: Osun Govt Denies Asking Applicants To Pay N5,000 For Appointment Letters

The Osun State Government has described as fake a letter from the state Ministry of Education asking successful applicants of the ongoing teachers recruitment to pay N5,000 to print their appointment letters.

The purported letter, which was allegedly signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr A.K Jimoh, and dated April 02, had said the payment was to enable successful applicants to print their appointment letters.
