2. Again, Adeleke Relaxes Curfew In Ifon, Erin, Ilobu Communities
Governor Ademola Adeleke has again relaxed the curfew imposed on Ilobu- Ifon- Erin communities in both Irepodun and Ifon-Orolu local governments of Osun State from 17 to 12 hours.
The relaxation of the curfew is the sequel to the different security reports reaching the governor that the much-expected ceasefire is taking centre stage on a daily basis.

3. Displaced Osun Farmers Call For Govt’s Swift Action
More than 3,000 farmers displaced from Iloba and Oloosape communities in Osun State have urged both the federal and state governments to help facilitate their return to their ancestral lands, six years after violent attacks drove them away.
The farmers, who gathered in Osogbo on Monday, alleged that they were driven from their villages in 2019 by armed hoodlums from the neighbouring Egbedi community, and have since been unable to access their farmlands.

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Osun State Axis has warned students of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree to be “cautious and vigilant” amid the ongoing violent cult clash between rival cult groups in the institution.
OSUN DEFENDER had earlier reported that no fewer than three persons, including individuals suspected to be students, sustained varying degrees of injuries in the early hours of Monday following a violent cult clash at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
The incident, which sparked panic across the campus, was reportedly a fallout of a confrontation between two rival cult groups — the Buccaneers and the Supreme Eiye Confraternity.
According to credible sources within the institution, gunshots were heard around 11:00 a.m. within the school premises, leading to a state of pandemonium as students and staff fled for safety.
