Controversial social media personality, Kemi Olunloyo, daughter of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Dr Victor Omololu Olunloyo, has stirred the hornet’s nest with shocking revelations about her father in the wake of his passing.

Dr. Olunloyo, an accomplished mathematician and respected political figure, died on Sunday, 6th April 2025.

While tributes continue to pour in from different quarters, his daughter, Kemi, took to her Facebook page to declare that she would not be accepting condolences, insisting that she had long cut ties with the family.

“I am not accepting anybody’s condolences because I am not condoling with anybody. If you want to condole with my father on his death or his family, you need to go to facebook.com/omololuolunloyo,” she wrote.

Kemi, who claimed to have been emotionally and physically tortured as a child, blamed her father for allegedly “destroying the family unit.”

According to her, the public image of her father sharply contradicted the private persona he exhibited at home.

“My father marketed me as his favourite child to the world… But I was far from it. My father used me for a lot of things,” she claimed.

She further alleged that her father was heavily involved in occult practices and described how his marriage to a former campaign staffer, Ronke Sonaike — later known as Aderonke Omololu Olunloyo — shattered the family.

“That was when the whole family went into ruckus,” she said, adding that Ronke’s presence in the home changed everything, including access to their father in his final years.

She accused her stepmother of poisoning attempts, while also recalling how her own mother once placed a miniature coffin under Ronke’s son’s bed during a heated family fallout.

“My father was into ‘juju’ heavily. It’s too long. It’s too painful,” she added in a video posted to her TikTok page.

Despite her bitter memories, Kemi stated that she had forgiven her father but maintained her stance of detachment from the Olunloyo family.

She said she no longer resides in Nigeria and had vowed never to return, even in the event of the death of either of her parents.

The late Dr. Victor Omololu Olunloyo, who once served as governor during the Second Republic, remains a respected figure in the annals of Oyo State’s political history.
